Pianist, composer and improviser Jordan Chung  (BMus ’22) is a rising figure in Sydney’s creative music scene. He has performed at major festivals including New Orleans Jazz Fest and Sydney Con Jazz Festival, and leads the acclaimed quartet Zodiac, whose debut album was released with ABC Jazz.

Led by pianist Jordan Chung, Zodiac  is a contemporary jazz quartet blending classic styles with modern creativity. Fresh off their debut album, they’re preparing for an Australian tour to launch their second release in 2025.

Shane (@shanexyeah ) has been playing piano for over 17 years and is best known for his TikTok performances, where he reimagines today’s biggest hits entirely by ear. His live sets are high-energy, playful, and always full of surprises.

Formed by University of Sydney alumni, Kingdom Calm  is a rock trio mixing classic Aussie sounds with sharp storytelling. Their original songs explore themes from gambling addiction to physics, backed by soulful vocals, punchy bass, and energetic drumming.

Sydney artist Alex Tallon  (BMus ’25) fuses dance beats with alt-rock in his solo project TALLON. His latest single “How? In This Rut Again” (featuring Narakel) explores the struggle of breaking old habits through driving bass and powerful rhythms.

The Jam Sandwiches serve up their signature “psychedelic groove rock,” combining jazz fusion, prog-rock, and indie quirks with explosive energy. They’ve supported big-name acts like Amy Shark and Ocean Alley, building a loyal following.

Singer, songwriter and soul/funk artist Mel Ertler (BMus ’22), known as Melita, joins forces with trumpeter Tom Bootes in the QC Collective to deliver groove-driven performances that highlight her dynamic voice and stage presence.

Dink is a jazz-fusion quartet from Eora/Sydney blending bold original compositions with genre-crossing influences from Steely Dan to Yussef Dayes. Since their Sydney Opera House debut, they’ve toured nationally and released their EP Midnight Under The Mountain.

Nazli Sendurgut  (BMus ’14, MMus ’16) is a versatile Sydney-based cellist who performs widely with ensembles, orchestras, and chamber groups, alongside teaching and solo work. She brings her modern Italian cello to venues ranging from symphonies to cruise ships.

Created by Jared Underwood  (DipMus ’99), BATTERIE is a genre-defying solo act mixing live drums, looping, synths and experimental sound design. His shows span IDM and post-rave electronica, and he’s also known for composing award-winning indie game soundtracks.

A Sydney artist and producer (BMus ’25), Kathryn Luxford  has been releasing music since age 11. Now carving her place in pop, she’s known for catchy yet quirky songwriting, captivating vocals, and a bold stage presence.

Singer-songwriter Sara Petrovski creates fresh, genre-blurring pop that blends R&B, rap, jazz and futuristic melodies. Self-produced and experienced, she performs both originals and inventive covers for all audiences.

The Enharmonics are a versatile Conservatorium student string quartet whose repertoire ranges from classical to contemporary and even original works, showcasing artistry and adaptability across styles.

Soul-pop artist Athanasia Sakoutis (BMus ’22) fuses old-school funk with modern pop flair. Inspired by Amy Winehouse, her powerful vocals and diary-like lyricism have taken her to SXSW, Big Sound and the Rolling Stone x VAMPR showcase.
