Description
Drew Longbottom, a proud Jerringa and Dharrawal man, will lead an informative session providing an overview of the Dharrawal language and its intrinsic connection to Country, cultural identity, and obligation. Drew’s knowledge has been passed down through generations of his family, and he delivers this workshop grounded in the cultural teachings and traditions of his local community.
Talent
- Drew Longbottom is a Knowledge Holder, Language Custodian, and Cultural Educator from the Jerrinja Aboriginal Community. He currently works in cultural heritage consultancy, collaborating with Aboriginal-led organisations including Ngabul, Waminda, and Gadhungal Marring, to strengthen community-led approaches to cultural education, connection, and preservation.
