Join a thought-provoking discussion on reimagining afterschool care - not just as supervision, but as a meaningful opportunity for children to connect, create and thrive. We’ll explore the latest research on how these hours can support kids’ wellbeing, reduce screen time, and offer real relief for busy families.
While you take part in the conversation, your dependent can join the “Kerameikos: Play with Clay” workshop upon arrival. In this session, they’ll be guided through the Chau Chak Wing Museum’s collection of clay artefacts from past and present, exploring pottery vessels and terracotta figurines crafted by hand, mould, or potter’s wheel.
Afterwards, artists Sophie and Jenny will assist them in creating their own self-drying clay vessel.
This workshop will take place on Level 4 of the Chau Chak Wing Museum.
Photography and videography will be taken during the session, please speak with staff on arrival regarding use and permission.
